III.  Program Goals
  • Develop our athletes for collegiate athletics and academics
  • Develop a sense of pride and dedication in all athletes at all levels
  • Develop athletes that pride themselves in selflessness for the betterment of their teams and the overall program
  • To promote all varsity athletes to different collegiate coaches to the best of our abilities

IV.  Team Rules
  • Player Contracts
  • Player contracts are to be read, signed by player and parent, and returned to coach tomorrow.  The rules in these contracts will be strictly followed
  • Communication During Games
  • No communication between players and parents during games (verbally or electronically)
  • Parents are not allowed in the dugouts, or on the playing surface during games

IV.  Team Rules Continued
  • Bus Rules
  • Riding home on the bus vs. riding home with parents will be decided at coaches discretion each game.
  • Written notice must given to a head coach for a player to be allowed to ride home on something other than the bus.  This written notice must be received 24 hours in advance.
  • Players must ride home with an immediate family member (mother, father, grandmother, grandfather)

IV.  Team Rules Continued
  • Parental concerns will be addressed in a manner deemed appropriate by the coaching staff. No concern will be entertained if brought up in the wrong manner.  This means:
  • No profanity
  • Not in front of other players
  • Not about other players
  • In a scheduled conference with the athletic director (not at practice and not before or after a game)


  • **Issues that WILL NOT be discussed are playing time and strategy.  Parental complaints need to go directly to the head coaches of the respective team.

VIII.  Financial Requirements
  • A $235 fee is required for all Varsity and Junior Varsity Players.  This will cover:


  • 1.  required uniform pieces
  • 2.  food
  • 3.  tournament registration fees


  • PCIS’s fee will $125 (eat less, no hotels, fewer tournaments)

X.  Fundraising Incentives
  • To help offset the expense of your daughter playing softball at Central High School, the coaching staff will use the 50% plan.  This means that for every dollar you or your daughter fundraise, $.50 of it will go the program and $.50 of it will go towards your daughters required fee (up to the first $470.00 raised)

XI.  Concession Stand and Gates
  • Please work dates assigned on “Concession Stand and Gate Assignment Sheet”
  • You are responsible for finding someone to work your date, if something comes up.
  • Please notify Coach Cooper if a change to this schedule is made

XII.  To Do Before You Leave
  • 1.  Sign up for season passes - $40
  • 2.  Turn in uniform order forms
