This
year marks the 20th anniversary of National Chemistry Week. The theme
chosen this year for the special anniversary, "The Many Faces of
Chemistry," features the diverse careers that are possible within
the field of chemistry and chemical engineering. The goal is to highlight
the "faces" and people/careers behind them.
Students in Ms. Danielle Hudson's class participated in the nationwide
poster contest that features a $2,500 prize.
At the local level the winners were:
1st Place - Tasheema Jernigan
2nd Place - Sarah Selvidge
3rd Place - Brandon Garrett
Honorable Mention - RaAsia Smith
