Pendragon: Black Water by D. J. MacHale |
|
Bobby travels once again though the flumes to the territory of
Eelong. What he finds there makes him very angry. Humans, called
gars, are ruled by the Klees, which are huge mountain lions. It
seems like the world of Eelong has changed roles from Earth. The
gars are treated worse then dogs and they are always talking
about Black Water. On top of understanding what this place is,
he has to find out the turning point on Eelong because Saint
Dane has taken the form of a Klee. And he has to make the
traveler from Eelong, Kasha, understand that they are fighting a
deadly war and she must help them to save the territories from
the evil demon. His best friends Mark and Courtney are now
acolytes; they help the travelers with clothes from the new
territory so they can blend in. But they must never travel the
flumes. But they make a terrible mistake. Will Bobby find the
turning point on Eelong and try to find out the mystery of black
water? Will he reverse the damage that is done when his best
friends make a terrible mistake? You will have to read this
fascinating book to find out. This book is by far my favorite.
