Coach Vickers is now in Kuwait with his troops and sends this
message and photos to those of us back in P.C.
"Tourists pay thousands of dollars to come to Kuwait
City and I got paid to come here to send photos so none of you have to worry
about coming.
It is a beautiful city right next to the ocean that you can't see in any
of the pictures.
The big dome building is a huge mosque. We didn't take pictures of the Applebee's,
T.G.I.Friday's, Hardees, the Hilton, Burger King, etc., but did take one
of the McDonald'sand theHard Rock Cafe.
Big difference from the desert where we are living and training to the
city (about a two hour drive).
The two trailers in one of the photos are what the sheep herders and camel
herders live in. I think I saw one with a Alabama flag and a picture of
Nick Saban in the window. Ha!
Notice my two different types of vehicles - one for inside the camp and
one for outside.
Talk to ya'll later."
