Dear Parents and Seniors:

Hurray! You are a Super Senior and the Guidance Department of Central High School wants to help you get the Sensation for Success. In order to ensure that Seniors have the best possible year and meet the criteria for graduation, I have scheduled Senior Conferences during the months of June and July. The following areas will be addressed during the Senior Conferences:

EARLY REGISTRATION
CREDIT CHECKS FOR GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
ACT, SAT & ASVAB TESTING
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS
FINANCIAL AID
DIPLOMA APPLICATIONS
CAP & GOWN MEASUREMENTS

I will be available for conferences on the dates and times below. Please call Mrs. Buchanan at 334-298-3626 to schedule the conference. I am requesting that both the parent and the student attend. This conference is extremely important and may help to answer many questions you may have about the senior year, preparation for college, the military, or the work force. Please note that by attending this conference, you will not need to attend regular registration for your senior. However, you must bring current proof of residency to register (power, water, gas, or mortgage bill) and proof of driver's license and license plate # if you wish to purchase a parking decal.
JUNE 11, 18 & 27
8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 A.M. & 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 P.M.

JULY 8, 16 & 24
8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 A.M. & 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 P.M.

August 1
8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 A.M. & 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 P.M.

Please schedule your senior conference as soon as possible. If you are not able to schedule a conference during these dates and times, your student will still have a Senior Conference with me during the first part of the school year.

There will be 4 conferences scheduled per hour. Early registration and general information will be covered in small groups, and then each senior & parent will meet with me individually to discuss credits, transcript, schedule, and post-secondary plans. Please be on time for your conference so that we may adhere to the appointment times scheduled for each senior.

Thank you!
Jenny Kite,
CHS Senior Counselor
