Directions To Away Soccer Games
Garrett Stadium Phenix
City
Alabaster: (Thompson)
-Take I-85 South to Montgomery - then I-65 North to exit 238 (Alabaster)
- Turn left (Hwy.31) and drive a mile, maybe less to the 31/119 intersection and
turn left (119 South)
- Drive for ~2 miles. Once you cross the train tracks you will turn right.
There is an old soccer field
there and the Linda Nolen Learning Center is there also.
- Once you turn right, you will see the stadium in the back of the parking lot.
Auburn:
Directions to Auburn High School home soccer games (to be
played at new soccer complex on Wire Road)
From I-85 – Take Exit 51 and proceed north toward Auburn. Go approximately 2-3
miles to the 3rd traffic light and take a left onto Shug Jordan Pkwy
(may also be known as University Drive). Go to first traffic light and take a
left onto Wire Road (may also be known as Conway Parkway). Go 2.2 miles and new
soccer complex will be on your right.
(From Montgomery you may want to take exit 42 (Wire Road exit) and take a
left from the exit ramp. Go approximately 8-10 miles and complex will be on
your left. (If you see the Veterinary College, you have gone about 2 miles too
far.)
Benjamin Russell: Map
Follow 280 into Alex City until you come to Highway 22 West. The
highway is past the McDonald's and the Russell Outlet and then past the Hospital.
Take 22 West about a half mile to enter the Sportplex. There will be a sign
directing you to the sportplex. Follow the signs to the reserved parking lot.
This will be parking for the sportplex stadium.
Carroll of Ozark:
Take Hwy. 431 South (approximately 65 miles).
Turn Right onto Hwy. AL-10 (approximately 10 miles).
Turn Left onto Hwy. AL-105 (approximately 18 miles).
Turn Right onto Forrest Ave. the school will be on your left.
Columbus Youth Soccer
Complex:
Take 185 South to Manchester Expressway. Go past Peachtree Mall and Bill
Hear Chevrolet. Exit Manchester Expressway (Hwy 27) onto Warm
Springs Connector. Take a right onto Warm Springs Connector this will dead
end at Cooper Creek Park. At the stop lights for Warm Springs Connector
and Milgen Road take a left until you see a Sonic on your right. At this
stop light take a right onto Woodruff Farm Road and follow it until you see a
sigh for Columbus Youth Soccer Complex this will be about 4 miles down the road
and will be on your right. Go the back parking lot as far back as you can
go and then start waking.
Dothan & Northview: Map
Take 431 out of Phenix City and into Dothan.
Turn right at Ross Clark Circle (231/84). Continue straight approximately 6 miles
until you get to Choctaw (4-way stop light). Turn right and go 1 block to stoplight
at Westgate Parkway. Continue straight ahead into Westgate park. At the stop
sign turn right onto Recreation Road. Follow this about one block and when you see
tennis courts to your right veer left. Northcutt and Optimist Fields are left near
the brown brick buildings. Continue straight and veer to the right for Prim
Field.
Enterprise:
Take 431 out of Phenix City and go to Dothan.
Turn right at Ross Clark Circle (231/84). Continue straight approximately
7 miles until you get to Highway 84. Turn right
onto Hwy. 84 West. This will take you into Enterprise.
On Highway 84 in Enterprise you will connect into E.
Park Ave. then you will run into S. Main St. that will run into N. Main
Street. Look closely for East Watts Street. Take a right onto E.
Watts Street. When you get to Hillcrest Elementary
School take a right just before you get to the school. This will be
Airport Road. Go one block and take a left. This will take you into
the parking lot by the field we will be playing on.
Lymen Ward:
Take Highway 280 from Phenix City through Auburn headed toward Alex City.
About 20 minutes past Auburn you will come into Camp Hill which is the city
where Lymen Ward is located. Turn right off of Highway 280 onto Highway
50. Once you get onto highway 50 you will quickly see a barn on the left
side of the road. You will burn next to the barn and follow the dirt road
around behind the school you will come down by the field.
Opelika: Map
Follow 280 into Opelika cross over I-85 and take a right at the next
lights this will put you onto Fox Run there will be a Shell gas station on the corner.
Follow this road for about a mile there will be a Winn-Dixie on the right at a set
of stop lights that you will pass through. After passing through the stop lights
this will put you in front of the Opelika High School and the stadium is just past the
High School on the left.
Robert E. Lee:
Take 280 to Opelika and take I-85 South to Montgomery. Get off I-85
at Ann Street in Montgomery and take a right onto Ann Street. Follow this road to
Robert E. Lee. Park on the right side of the school on the front side.
Valley:
Take Interstate 85 North to Exit 77. On Exit 77 take a right follow this
road till you come to a set of stop lights. At the stop lights take a
right turn and follow this road down and take a right turn at the second road.
