Garrett Stadium

Garrett Stadium is the home of the Central High School and South Girard Soccer teams.  This is our sixth year of calling it our home field.  At this point in time the field is only set at 60 yards by 120 yards.  It has a great playing surface that is very flat, fast and well maintained by our Parks and Recreation Department of Phenix City.  By the time the season rolls around the grounds look great.  At Garrett Stadium we have locker rooms and showers available for your athletes.  There is also a concession stand available for hot or cold drinks and a $3.00 admission fee for spectators this covers the rental of the stadium.   All visitors and home spectators must sit on the side of the press box.  No spectators may be on the side of the players benches.  We love to invite teams to come play at our house.  If you are looking to come check out our home field and some good soccer you can locate us by following the directions below.

Garrett Stadium from the south:

Coming in on 431 you need to take this north until you come to highway 80 East leading into Columbus.  You will find this turn after you pass Applebee's on you right and the turn for highway 80 East will turn to the right after a set of stoplights.   Take 80 to the first off ramp this will put you on Summerville Road.  Take a right onto Summerville road getting into the middle lane of three lanes of traffic this lane will take you in front of the Stadium.  Pull into the parking lot and take a left to park at the far end of the parking lot closest to the lights you just came through.  Welcome to our Home.

Garrett Stadium from the north:

Coming into Phenix City on 280 from the north you will come to an intersection of stop lights for the Supper Wal-Mart that you will pass through and then you will pass through one more set of stop lights but after the second set you need to be ready to turn left onto Highway 80 that leads into Columbus.  Go up 80 to the first exit that will lead to Summerville Road.  Take a right onto Summerville Road but get into the Second lane of traffic immediately so you can go through the net stop light and in front of Garrett Stadium which will be on your left.  Pull into the parking lot of the stadium and turn left to go to the end of the parking lot to park the bus, there is an open space for this.  Welcome to our Home.
