How to transfer pictures from the Olympus Stylus 730 camera to your
computer using the Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard…
- Connect one end of the USB cable to the camera and the other end to
an available USB port on your computer.
- The camera should power on automatically. The USB menu will appear
on the camera’s screen. Make sure that PC is highlighted and
press OK/FUNC.
- It may take the computer a moment to recognize the camera. Once it
does, a menu should appear on your computer asking you to select an
option. Choose Copy Pictures to a Folder on My Computer Using
Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard and click OK. (If the
menu doesn’t automatically appear, you’ll need to start the Scanner and
Camera wizard manually by selecting it in the program list… Start…
Programs…Accessories…Scanner and Camera Wizard.)
- Click Next in the Welcome dialog window.
- Choose which pictures you’d like to copy and click Next.
- In the Picture Name and Destination dialog window, type a
name for the group of pictures and select the folder where you want the
pictures to be saved…click Next.
- The wizard will begin copying the pictures to your computer. Follow
the prompts to complete the process.
- Note: Before disconnecting the computer, follow the necessary steps
to safely remove a USB device.
Remember to delete pictures from the camera once you’ve copied them
to your computer.
