Directions for placing files on a CD-R:
- Place a blank CD-R in the rewriteable drive of
your computer. A dialog box may appear; you may close it.
- Navigate to the location on your computer or on
the network drive where the files are that you would like to copy to the
CD.
- On each file that you wish to copy, right-click
and select Send To -- CD drive. Repeat as necessary for each file
you wish to be copied.
- Once all files have been selected,
double-click the My Computer icon from the desktop.
- In the My Computer window, double-click the drive
letter containing your blank CD. (Note: It will most likely
be the D drive.)
- Under the CD Writing Tasks menu on the left side,
select Write These Files to a CD.
- You will be prompted to enter a name for the CD.
- Click Next and the writing process begins.
- You will be notified with an on-screen dialog box
once the CD has been written.
- Click Finish and you're done!
