| We're participating in the Pizza Hut Book It Program.
We started it October 1st. Each student is asked to read an
average of at least 30 minutes a day, including during the
weekends. By the end of the month of October, they should have
930 minutes logged. |
| Students will be participating in a Mock Election on Tuesday,
October 29, 2002, in room 424 at 8:40 A.M. Students will bring
their Voter Registration Cards in order to vote. Information

| Fall Social: On Thursday, 09/19/02, 4th grade- 3:30-5:00 and
5th/6th grades- 5:30-7:00. |
| Classes with 100% PTA membership will receive a free ice cream and
drink party. Sign up mothers, fathers, guardians, uncles, aunts,
or any adult interested in the future of our students.
Membership fees are $4.00. You will not be required to attend
meetings. |
| A grant from the Phenix City Education Foundation will be used to
fund a project called Earth News, |
