Spelling

Here is a schedule for spelling lessons.  The units' words are listed below the schedule.

Monday:  
Proofread and edit the 2 daily proofreading sentences.
Copy and discuss word of the day.
Read and pronounce the list words by reading the sentences.
Learn about the spelling principle.
Study all spelling words and the first 10 dictation sentences.

Tuesday:  
Proofread and edit the 2 daily proofreading sentences.
Copy and discuss word of the day.
Write all the spelling words 3 times each, include the basic, review, and challenge words.
Study all spelling words and the first 10 dictation sentences.

Wednesday:
Proofread and edit the 2 daily proofreading sentences.
Copy and discuss word of the day.
Take dictation on the first 10 sentences.
Study all spelling words.

Thursday:
Proofread and edit the 2 daily proofreading sentences.
Copy and discuss word of the day.
Take a multiple choice test on the unit's words.  One REVIEW word and one CHALLENGE word will be called out.  Each one will be worth 5 extra points.

Friday:
Proofread and edit the 2 daily proofreading sentences.
Copy and discuss word of the day.
Review this week's words of the day and proofreading sentences.
