Introduction

Although organ donation rates have increased and organ transplantation procedures have been perfected, the demand for donated organs is still great.  Many people die every month while waiting for organ transplants, because the demand for organs far exceeds the supply.

As you progress through this webquest, you will learn more about the topic of organ transplantation and organ donation.  It will be up to you and your team to determine the challenges, underlying problem, solutions, and an action plan to help solve the dilemma of the shortage of organs.
