Pictures for Your Ears

What I saw, what I learned, and what I heard. :)

I saw many instruments and things I have never seen. I saw a director, young people, kids, and teachers. I saw pictures as they played the songs. They did really good, and if I could ever see them again I would choose to go with my family. I would love to see them once more.

I heard many magnificent sounds. I also heard instruments. I liked the sounds of the drums, flute, clarinet, and the cymbals. They all sound very good together. My favorite section is the woodwinds.

I learned that writing a song won't just all pop in your head in one day. It takes time and concentration. I learned a lot about the different kinds of instruments, and I learned that it takes a whole group to work together, not just as one person with one sound.

I loved the Columbus Orchestra Symphony, and I hope to see them again with my family. They did really good, and I want to thank them for letting us come and play for our school. Casey P. :)
