Who we are:
We are a group of sixth-grade gifted education students
from Phenix City Intermediate School who are concerned about the water
quality in our community. Project W.E.T. is a Community Problem Solving
(CmPS) project, an international program designed for young people to
help their cities and towns.
Our mission:
1. To educate citizens about water quality
issues in our community
2. To establish new water monitoring programs
3. To persuade the Phenix City Council to pass a tree
ordinance as a part of the 2001 Master Plan for our community
4. To try to reduce non-point source pollution from entering our local
creeks
5. To convince citizens they can make a difference
