One
day Billy was doing his class work, when his Desk Helper went wild. The machine was giving all the answers to
his homework hologram. The teacher
thought it was his fault but it really wasn’t.
One reason the teacher thought it was him is because the teacher was a
Positron 5000. Those kinds of robots
are almost never wrong. Another reason
is the teacher was a machine and she didn’t want another machine to get blamed.
“It’s
not my fault,” said Billy.
Then the teacher said “ Don’t back talk me, go to the Mr. Megabit
now!” So Billy went to Mr. Megabit. He got in big trouble for cheating, but Mr.
Megabit didn’t put him in the Static room.
There is a very good reason for that too; he was the only human teacher
at that particular school. All the
other schools had at least fifteen human teachers. There was something terribly wrong. Was some kind of evil genius making robot to get rid of all the
kids? Billy then left Mr. Megabits
office and went snooping around the school.
Then he saw something that he had never seen at his school. It was a brand new office with all sorts of
huge metal electric machines. It looks
like some kind of recharging capsule.
Something was in one of them. It looked like a human model of his own
Desk helper. Then he ran to the office
to tell Mr. Megabit but a Moniterbot 8000 stopped him. Then he had to go back to his boring class
with his mean teacher. The whole time
he was thinking of what he saw.
Then his teacher asked him
a question, ”What is the correct answer Billy, Billy Atom are you listening?”
Billy looked up at the teacher and shook his head no. So then he had to go outside for not
listening. Then he saw the human Desk
helper going down the hall and went back into the electric office. This time
there was someone in it screaming out of the office, saying ” Brilliant,
Brilliant!” Then Billy started to run to Mr. Megabit this time he made it. When
he told Mr. Megabit he said” That’s Professor Re Boot he’s your new robot instructor,”
Then Billy got very scared.
The time was drawing very near to go to robotics class. As I said before Billy was scared of his new
robotics teacher Prof. Re Boot. The
bell rang and Billy walked slowly to Prof. Re Boot’s class. When Billy walked in
he was surprised the Professor was a girl!
The bad thing was when she started to talk he didn’t recognize it from
before. All through the day he was
thinking about Prof. Re Boot, he was worried if he was going to go to the
freezing chamber when he got home when he told his mom and dad.
After his last holo class he went to his
best friends colony.
On
the way there he had to stop by school to get his hologram homework. First he
had to take one more look at the Robotics classroom. Then he saw a spooky
shadow walk from the charger where that human desk helper was. He had to figure
out what it was, he got closer when a slight blue glow shot out from the
charger then the lights suddenly came on! He turned around to run when one of
his teachers ran into him. He had to
turn around but his legs locked. Then
shadow that he saw earlier had came up and grabbed him. Then he heard a loud zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
behind him. He thought he was going to get shocked when all of a sudden he
started to shake.
Then he opened his eyes to see his mom a dad hovering over him.
They said, “ It’s time to get up and go to school Billy”. He thought he was going mad. He tried to
close his eyes and make everything go away, but it didn’t work. He got up so he could take a hot plasma
shower; he got dressed and went to school. When he got to his first class his
desk helper went wild and was telling him all his answers to his work. That was
the beginning of a very weird day.
