“Today is probably going to
be a regular day,” Tom said into his Record-a-Thought as he hopped out of
bed. He opened the safety safe with his
code and swallowed his Becon Pill. If
you want to know what I think about the safe listen up, I think that the safes
are helpful to parents because it won’t let you take more than one a meal but,
I think that Becon Pills are atrocious” said Tom into his recorder. If you didn’t already know I’m doing a
report for my 5th rank teacher on “what my life is like.” Tom put on his hover shoes, which help kids
get to school a lot faster because the traffic is impossible to get
through. “The only thing you have to
worry about is the nuclear batteries in the shoes exploding, but that only
happens if you keep the battery in the shoes when it is running low. They usually buzz or vibrate in the last
week of battery life”, said Tom. Tom
got to school around 10:00. School last
10 o’clock P.M to, 5 o’clock A.M.
“School is so late because everything we do at home like chores and
homework should be done during the early morning so it sticks to your head all
day long” Tom said.
Tom ran to his first period class,
signed in on the digital board, and ran to his learning room. “Learning rooms are lined up in rows of six
in the classroom. There are usually
three rows of them. They are about two
yardsticks wide and three yardsticks high.
Closter phobic kids usually get ones with windows. Kids that are really overweight get
double-size boxes. Learning boxes have
a vid-window and a teacher board. The
vid-window is a live interaction program broadcasted from the teachers box in
the front of the room. After she goes through
the lesson with all the pupils she does closed circuit with each kid, to see
what they need help with. If the kid
ever falls asleep or doesn’t pay attention when she is on the screen, the pupil
ether gets water sprayed in his face, a horn blown, or a pinch. This is all done by the teacher board. You see, the teacher has little television
screens in here box and a board. She
can look over all the kids and…” “Ohhh my gosh!” the teacher screamed. “Everyone turn of your vid windows and lock
your doors. Put the curtain over your
windows!” A shady figure was strutting
through the room with a gun. He shot
one of the boxes, but they were each made of one inch of titanium and another
inch of steel. He tried to open the
teacher’s door and shoot her but the door had three bolts on it, and it
wouldn’t budge. The shady figure gave up
and walked out of the room. “About thirty minutes later the principal came over
the intercom and announced that it was okay to put up our vid-windows and
un-lock our doors. No one in school was hurt because of the learning boxes.”
Tom said gratefully. “Maybe today
wasn’t such an ordinary day,” said Tom.
