Throat
Disease
“Today is my foremost day at this summer camp”, I said energized to the camp councilor. But all he did was grunt. All ready I was ready to go home receiving an unwanted welcome. I walk to my room that I was hypothetical going to sleep in, it smelled like dog’s breath and the other children that slept in it. After that, I went to my mom and dad trying to convince them that I don’t want to stay, but they insisted that I stay anyway. You can guess what is going through my mind, “AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”, I screamed as my parents drove off. This is going to be the worst summer of my life.
But, what I didn’t know was that as soon as my parents left and entered the highway they had gotten into a car accident. My dad died, but my mom is critically indignant from the car accident, but the only way to save her is for somebody to donate a lung, because both of her lungs are failing. “The most time I think she has to live is about 1 week or less, because her lungs are deteriorating fast, unless you can find a donor she is going to expire”, said the doctor sadly to my Untie Estella.
That afternoon at the summer camp, before I knew this happened, I met innovative friends and had a good time. That night I started to think about my parents and I wasn’t so homesick anymore. That night I went to sleep with no worries not knowing what had happened to my parents.
The next day my Untie Estella came to pick me up that afternoon, “I changed my mind about not staying”, I said. “I am picking you up for a different reason”, Estella said. “I am picking you up, because your daddy died and your mother is hurt very bad”, she said sadly.
By the time we got there the doctor said that what he had told Estella was wrong, he was mistaken, it was actually a throat disease that had caused the infection to happen, it had nothing to do with the accident, at all. It turns out that she does still need a donor, but she needs only one lung, not two. Suddenly, I have an idea we could get one of the lungs from my daddy, and put it in her.
They tried my idea, and put it to work. We waited for hours and hours, one by one my other relatives were start showing up. The doctor came outside and said that she is okay.
