Wet and Wild Field Trip
On October 29, 2001, I went on a field
trip to the Tuskegee National Forest Park and to the Mann Museum and
Outdoors. It was really fun on the way
there. It took awhile to load the bus,
but it was worth the wait.
On the bus, I sat by Gina. We played Trouble, and we had fun. I got mad a little, because I kept losing,
but I got over it. I let Gina play with
my toys, since I played with her Trouble game.
We enjoyed playing our games.
Soon we arrived at the Tuskegee National
Forest Park. There we learned about
rivers, ponds, streams, etc. I learned
a lot about the water. I learned that
in order to have fish in your water, you need to have nutrients in your
water. The fish eat the nutrients, the
bears eat the fish, other animals eat the bears after they die, so it is
important to have fish in your lakes, streams, ponds, etc.
Soon we were on our way to the Mann
Museum and Outdoors. When we got there,
we ate lunch. Some of us fed the deer,
while the others ate. Then we went
inside and studied the animals. They
were huge! I liked the Timber Wolves
the best. It was exciting! The animals on the inside were not alive,
but I still enjoyed myself.
Well, that's what I did on the field
trip. I loved it! I hope we go on another field trip as fun as
this one.
