The interpretation of laws concerning the environment has emerged its own field during the past decade.  Recognizing the expansion of the population and destruction of natural habitat, governments around the world are increasingly enacting statutes that protect the environment.  As the world population continues to increase in the 21st century, what issues will emerge?  How will the field of environmental law evolve?
