Inquiring Minds Want to Know is an interdisciplinary project, which encourages scientific investigation utilizing writing, math, technology, and research skills.  Beginning in September 2001, up to 400 fifth graders will conduct experiments that address 5th grade science objectives.  They will maintain a journal, use math and science skills to collect and record data, utilize research skills, write essays, create brochures, develop PowerPoint presentation, and write scientific reports.  Students will display components (graphs, charts, pictures, etc.) of various experiments around the classrooms, school, and on the school's webpages.  The culminating activity will be a science fair in the spring of 2002.
