purchasing playground equipment
building a pavilion
creating a supply closet for students and teachers

One of the goals of our PTA is to provide school improvements that benefit teachers, parents, and students. We accomplish this by raising money with fundraisers throughout the year. Because of the tremendous support of our wonderful parents, the Ridgecrest Elementary School's PTA has provided the following items:

*magazine & newspaper subscriptions
*classroom supplies
*classroom carpet
*funding for the Accelerated Reader Store & Awards
*funding for campus beautification

PTA meetings are open to parents, staff members, and friends of Ridgecrest. Meetings give parents a chance to learn more about PTA activities and other school or system events. PTA meetings give parents an opportunity to ask questions and voice opinions. Students provide entertaining programs at each meeting.
