Dear Parents, It is with great pleasure that we take this opportunity to welcome you to Ridgecrest Elementary School. We are proud of the academic and social programs we offer our students, parents, and the Ridgecrest School community. We hope you will make the most of your time with us. This web page has been developed to help you learn about our school policies, procedures and the services we offer students. We encourage you to use our website as often as possible. If you are joining our school family for the first time, or have been a member for a number of years, we encourage you to become a part of our PTA. In addition, we urge you to take an active role in your child's education by visiting our school often, volunteering to help your child's teacher or other staff members, and - most of all-encouraging your child to strive for excellence in education. The faculty and staff of Ridgecrest Elementary are obligated to creating and maintaining an environment that is conducive to learning. It is our purpose to increase self-confidence, pride, and equip students with skills that will be necessary in reaching their fullest potential. A Building Based Student Support Team (BBSST) has been created to address students who may be at risk of not experiencing school success and may be in danger of school failure. Each school has its own BBSST and the contact person may be found by calling the school office. We look forward to another successful school year and it is with great hope that all of our students will have a rewarding year.
