The counseling program at South Girard School is
designed to be preventive and developmental. Our goal is to
assist your child in reaching his or her highest potential.
The counselors are available to work with students and parents.
Students may be referred to counselors by the following people:
parents, teachers, or administrators. Students may also
request to see the counselor. Some of the services available
through the counseling program are: classroom guidance
activities, group activities, individual counseling, and parenting
workshops.
South Girard participates in Title IV, a program
for drug, alcohol, and tobacco awareness and prevention of violence.
