This year at Westview our students were involved in a reading incentive program entitled "Bikes-4-Books".  Each student had a specific number of points to accumulate in the Accelerated Reader program.  The point goals were different for each grade level.  The goals were as follows: Kindergarten-25points; 1st grade-50 points; 2nd grade-65 points; 3rd grade-75 points; and 4th grade-100 points.  The incentive ended on May 1, 2007.  All students who met their goals by that date were rewarded with a bicycle.  One hundred-thirty eight students met their goal and were able to received a bicycle on Friday, May 18, 2007.  Congratulations to all our winners for a job well done!!!!
