Westview celebrated Career Day on Friday, April 11. Career Day centered around the Wheels of Work and the students learned about the different vehicles and careers that are in the world of work.  The vehicles present included the power company truck, fire engine, fire and rescue truck, animal control truck, a limousine, custom cars, the metro helicopter and the sheriff's car.  The students also enjoyed watching the helicopter landing with Dr. Bender and Mrs. Walker aboard. In the afternoon, several speakers from numerous careers talked with our students about their careers.  The speakers included a doctor, television news people, martial arts instructors, a ballerina, and a musician.  Thank you, Mrs. Walker, for planning and organizing this event!!!
