Westview Students Participate in Mock Election

Westview Elementary School held a mock election on Tuesday, November 4, 2008.  The Election Day polling place was sponsored by the kindergarten classes of Mrs. James and Ms. Miller.  Each student was asked to cast their for for either Senator John McCain or Senator Barack Obama.  After the votes were counted, Senator Obama won the election with 305 votes to Senator McCain's 30 votes.  Thank you, kindergarten, for sponsoring our mock election.
