On Friday, November 13, 2009, Westview had a luncheon and program for past and present members of the military in honor of their service to our country and in appreciation of their commitment to keep our country safe.   After the meal, all visitors and guests were invited to a program in our cafeteria.  The Central High School Navy ROTC  presented colors, the Westview Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Barnoski, provided patriotic music, and Colonel Beckett spoke to the students about "What is the Military ?"   In addition, Westview students presented readings thanking the veterans and active military for their service to our country, Mrs. Foster presented an inspiring dance, and the students were led in cadences by Captain Barnoski and others.  We want to thank Mrs. Barnoski and Mrs. Scott for their hard work in organizing our Military Appreciation Day.
