Student Art/Pictures
Copyright 2007 Westview Elementary School. Copyrighted material cannot be used
unless written permission has been obtained by the owner. In the event of
copying student art, written permission must be obtained from the student's
parents.
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a Federal law, requires that Westview Elementary School and the Phenix City Board of Education, with certain exceptions, obtain your written consent prior to the disclosure of personally identifiable information from your child’s education records. However, we may disclose appropriately designated "directory information" without written consent, unless you have advised the District to the contrary in accordance with District procedures. If you do not want your or your child's picture or name (first name only in all cases except with explicit permission) on our website, you should sign and return the Media Form located in the handbook back to the school as soon as possible.
