On Friday, October 23, 2009, parents of Westview students were invited to the school to visit in their child's classroom, review the DIBELS test scores and listen to several speakers from a variety of community organizations. Our parents received helpful information from the Phenix City Russell County Library, United to Save Ourselves, the Phenix City Parks and Recreation Department, and the Boys and Girls Club. In addition to these presenters, Ms. Grizzle, Westview's reading coach, talked to the parents about Reading Connections. These types of days are special to both the students and parents, but also to the teachers and staff. As you can see from the pictures, Westview's Parents' Day was a huge success!!
