Westview celebrated Red Ribbon Week from October 26-October 30. Everyday, Westview students dressed according to a particular theme. On Monday, students "dressed to impress" by wearing professional attire, on Tuesday, we "teamed up against drugs' with our favorite team colors and jerseys, and on Wednesday, students fought "the war against drugs" as shown by their camouflage. On Thursday, we "gave drugs the boot" by wearing western wear and on Friday, our theme was "Don't be Tricked, Drugs Are No Treat, Say No to Drugs". Students were able to wear their Halloween costumes on Friday. We were also visited by Officer Spiffy from South Girard who talked to our students about the dangers of using drugs. In addition, we enjoyed a drug free pep rally on Tuesday.
