Operations & Administration

  • The Phenix City Schools' Operations and Administration department is an important part of the public education process.  The physical characteristics of a school or athletic facility are looked upon by the community, administration, teachers, coaches, and other school districts who may be visiting.  We strive for our facilities to be something our district can be proud of.

    This department includes, but is not limited to:

    • District Bids
    • School Safety (School Resource Officers, Traffic Duty, Resistance Training, Emergency Drills, etc.)
    • Capital Projects
    • Maintenance of all Grounds and Facilities
    • Cleanliness of Buildings
    • Energy Maintenance
    • Environmental Services (Air Quality, Asbestos)
    • Athletic Field Maintenance and Service
    • Painting, Roofing, Air Conditioning
    • Waste Disposal

     

Maintenance Department

  • The purpose of Phenix City Schools Maintenance Department is to confirm that all of our schools/facilities are maintained in the most cost-effective manner possible in accordance with State & Federal Guidelines and Board policy. We strive to ensure that the staff and students of Phenix City Schools have a learning environment that is safe, comfortable and attractive.
