PCIS Parents/Guardians,
I wanted to let you know that your child has access to ebooks through our catalog (Follett Destiny) and a few other resources. I've posted directions on how to find ebooks on Destiny and links to those resources in your child's Library Google Classroom. Please encourage your children to read at least 20-30 minutes each day. Have them read aloud to you so that they can practice fluency and comprehension, and at the same time, you get to enjoy a story together! Talk about what they've read. Ask, who are the characters? What is the setting? What would you do if you were in this situation? Did you like or dislike the ending? Anything to invoke thoughts about the story.
