Hello! My name is Hannah Denney. I am starting my second year as a 2nd grade teacher here at LPS. I graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Troy University and started my teaching journey in January of 2016. Since then, I have taught as an interventionist, 4th grade teacher, online ESL teacher, temporary homeschool mom (thanks COVID-19), and now a 2nd grade teacher. I have to say that of all my experiences, I like being a 2nd grade teacher the best! I have been married to my best friend, Adam Denney, for 11 years. We have two WILD boys, Silas (1st grade) and Judah (almost 2 years old). When I am not at school, I love spending time with my family, playing board games, cooking, cleaning (just kidding), and quilting! I love to make school fun for my students by always singing, dancing, and making jokes. I am so excited for my second year at LPS! I cannot wait to meet my newest 2nd grade birdies this year!
