Child Find

Phenix City Schools has systems to locate, evaluate, and identify students with disabilities transitioning from Early Intervention (EI) Agencies and those ages 3 to 21.  Services are available through Phenix City Schools for all eligible children with disabilities from ages three through 21. If you suspect that your child has a disability, don't hesitate to get in touch with your child's school or Special Education Services Department for additional information. Children aged from birth to 21 may receive free appropriate public education through Child Find, a state-funded program. Contact the State Child Find Agency at (800) 543-3098 for children aged birth from two years old.
