Phenix City Schools showcased remarkable talent and dedication at the state Beta conventions this week, with a significant presence from four schools: Lakewood Elementary School, Phenix City Intermediate School, Westview Elementary School, and South Girard. These schools participated in the junior state convention held from Monday to Wednesday. Additionally, the Freshman Academy and the high school represented the district at the senior convention, which took place from Wednesday to Friday. Collectively, Phenix City Schools achieved an outstanding feat by securing 51 placements within the top five and top three categories, earning them the opportunity to advance to the national convention.
This achievement is a testament to the exceptional quality of students within the Phenix City district. Their commitment to serving the community and excelling in competitive environments throughout the year has culminated in this significant success. The students' dedication and hard work have been instrumental in bringing such honor and recognition to Phenix City Schools, highlighting their potential and setting a high standard of excellence.
