The Phenix City Board of Education recently approved flexible summer operational hours for Phenix City Schools. These changes aim to provide additional benefits and flexibility for our team members during the summer months. Here's what you need to know:

• Friday Closures in June and July: From June 3 through July 26, 2024, Phenix City Schools' offices will be closed to the public every Friday. Despite these closures, regular school and system operations will continue. Please note that starting the week of July 29, 2024, all offices will be open to the public on Fridays again.

• Limited Operations During the Week of July 4: Due to staff vacations and system maintenance, our offices will be closed to the public from July 1-5, 2024. This is a popular week for our team members to take vacation leave. Normal operations will resume on July 8, 2024.

Although our public-facing offices will be closed, we want to reassure you that school and district operations will continue. Parents and community members can still reach us via email or phone for any urgent matters. We're committed to ensuring a smooth summer transition for our students, staff, and families.
