PCBOE Updates About Superintendent Search

The Board provides insight into the continued search process

 

Phenix City, Ala.— The Phenix City Board of Education (PCBOE) is in the process of accepting applications for the superintendent position. The Board will begin screening applications and scheduling interviews after January 31, 2023.

 

More information on interviews and applicants will become available once qualified candidates are determined. The Board will continue to accept applications after January 31, 2023. PCBOE plans to have the position filled by May 2023.

 

This search is headed by a three-person committee. Reverend John Brady Baird is the committee chair, and PCBOE Chair, Yolunada Daniel and PCBOE member, Elliot Patrick are the remaining committee members.

 

“We want to assure our community that we hear their valuable opinions, and we are committed to considering all feedback as we search for our next superintendent. It is our goal to find a strong leader who will provide strategic leadership to keep Phenix City Schools moving forward,” said Rev. Baird.
