Hi! My name is Brooke Brown and I am proud to be a Lakewood Birdie and a product of the Phenix City school system. I grew up in Phenix City and graduated from Central High School. I attended Faulkner University in Montgomery where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I later earned a Master's Degree in the same field from Troy University. I have been teaching for 20 years and I love kindergarten! My favorite thing about teaching young children is helping them become readers. I hope to foster a life-long love of reading in my students. I have been married to Clark for 21 years and we have 2 precious children - Cooper(14) and Libby (10). When I'm not at school, I enjoy traveling, reading, and shopping.
