Hey friends! My name is Jordan Lutz. I am the  Math Interventionist at Lakewood Primary School! I look forward to implementing high-quality mathematical interventions, closing gaps, and building confidence in our students.  Before becoming a Math Interventionist, I taught kindergarten for 7 years. I truly love building strong foundations for young minds, which is personally rewarding. I love my job, and I am very thankful that I get to share my passion with students and their families. 

I received my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Auburn University in May 2017 and my Master’s in Elementary Education from Troy University in December 2019. I am currently enrolled at the University of West Alabama for Instructional Leadership. My husband, Thomas, and I have two, precious boys, Jones (5) and Mack (2), who keep us on our toes. I am excited to share the school I love with my own son this year; Jones will start kindergarten! We are members of the Church of the Highlands at the Auburn East Campus. I am very family-oriented and value relationships tremendously. I enjoy spending time on Lake Martin, hunting, and rooting on my Auburn Tigers. War Eagle!
