Hello! My name is Susan Riepe and I am so excited to be at LPS this year! This will be my 18th year of teaching with experience in first - third grades. As a military spouse for over twenty years, I have been able to teach in multiple states and learn from many fabulous educators. I look forward to implementing many fun and engaging strategies in our classroom this year!

Teaching younger students is my passion. I love all of the “lightbulb” moments and seeing them make such huge gains during the school year. My hope is that all students in my class will develop strong foundational skills in these early years that will support them through their journey as lifelong learners.

I have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, an Elementary Teaching Certificate, and a Masters degree with Reading Specialization. My husband and I have three children. We spend a lot of time at the soccer field, cheering for the Tennessee Vols, hiking, and going on family camping trips.
