My name is Christie Schofield.  I was born here in Phenix City and graduated from Central High School.  I went off to UT for school but ended up coming home (I may have been a little homesick) and graduated from Troy in 2000, with a bachelor's in Elementary Education.  I went on to get my Masters in Education from Troy in 2005.   I've taught both 4th grade & then 1st grade for 15 years.  I am now teaching 2nd grade and loving it!  This will be my 21st year in education!  I have been married for 23 years (this year) and we have 2 daughters, Savanna (21) and Callie (18).  I enjoy spending time with my family, we love to hang out & go camping.  I also enjoy doing a little shopping and reading a good book when I have time!
