My name is Crystal Ward, and I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education K-6 from Troy University along with a Master of Education in Library Media K-12 from the University of West Alabama. I am currently pursuing an Ed.S. in Teacher Leader with the University of West Alabama, and I am also beginning year two of LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) training. I taught a first and second grade combination classroom at Ft. Benning, Georgia prior to coming to PCES. The 2021-2022 school year will be my fourth year with PCES and my sixth year teaching. I have taught both 3rd and 4th grade at PCES. I am married and have three sons that have all attended PCES. I enjoy reading, researching, being outdoors, and spending time with my family. One of my sons completed 7 years in the Phenix City Band program, and one is beginning his 6th year, so I really enjoy supporting their efforts as a booster parent either in concessions or under the Friday night lights.
