  • Phenix City Schools proudly supports student pursuits in the arts. Fine arts provide learners with non-academic benefits such as promoting self-esteem, motivation, aesthetic awareness, cultural exposure, creativity, improved emotional expression, as well as social harmony and appreciation of diversity. Art instruction helps children of all ages with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk-taking, and inventiveness.   • Phenix City Schools’ Hosts System Wide Fine Arts Festival for Students

    Phenix City Schools opens its doors to showcase student work for the first time since the pandemic. PCS welcomes the Chattahoochee Valley region to its Fine Arts Festival on March 5, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Central High School. The festival will display various art forms from every school in the Phenix City Schools system. 

    The fine arts department is excited to showcase students' artistic pursuits, ranging from concert band performances, choral performances, theater productions to visual arts.
