We're thrilled to embark on this exciting registration journey with you for the 2024-2025 school year. Our enrollment process through PowerSchool Enrollment is designed to be smooth and straightforward. We encourage every family to learn more about our curriculum, our mission, and how we maximize student learning at each stage of child development. We kindly ask you to carefully review the following essential details to ensure a seamless registration experience for your child's entry into Kindergarten.

Required Registration Documents

Phenix City Schools requires the following documents to register:

Proof of Residency within the last 30 days (power bill, utility bill, or rent receipt are examples of acceptable proofs of residency)

Birth Certificate

Alabama Immunization Certificate
-
Social Security Card
-
Transcript (Grades 8-12)

Withdrawal Form (Grades K-12)

Guardian ID
-
In-District Students
-

In-district students must reside within the Phenix City limits.

If you're new, you'll need to create an account.

Please gather all necessary documents beforehand, as they are essential for completing the registration.

Please select the school zoned for your address.

Out-of-District Students
-
-
Out-of-district students live outside the Phenix City limits but within the attendance zones of other school districts, such as Russell County, Lee County, or Muscogee County.
Please complete the Phenix City Schools Transfer Approval Request first.
Then, visit our PowerSchool new student registration forms to complete your registration (to be linked April 7).

You must create an account if you do not already have one.

Please have all the documents available, as you cannot complete registration without them.

Please choose Phenix City Transfer School, and they will be moved to the appropriate school after their transfer is approved.

Transportation Notice
-
Phenix City Schools provides transportation to and from home addresses only.
Route change requests are to be completed for valid change of residence (new proof of residency) or to the following pre-approved after-school programs:

Roy Martin Center

5th Street South Youth Center
-
Chuck Roberts Center

Doris Weaver Girls Club
Request for after-school programs may be approved pending available space on the bus. It is the parents' responsibility to ensure the program has space available before submitting any request for transportation. The driver will assign seats as they deem necessary. Seat assignments are a positive way for the ride to be safe and consistent.
For a change of residence, you have until July 14 to make any changes. After that date, transportation may not be provided until 2 weeks after the start of school (August 21). Any change of home address will need to include updated proof of residency.
